Thank You for a wonderful 2025 Pool Season!

Thank You for a Historic 2025 Pool Season!

We are grateful to all our pool pass holders and daily visitors for making this summer one to remember. With over 30,000 visits, 2025 was our first season following the largest renovation since the pool originally opened in 1972—a milestone year in every way.

A special thank you goes to our pool managers, lifeguards, and pool staff for their dedication and hard work in ensuring a safe, welcoming, and fun experience for all. Their efforts truly made this a tremendous season.

We look forward to seeing you back at the pool in 2026!

Resident ID Cards Required

Beginning June 16, all Palos Heights residents will need a Recreation Resident ID Card to receive resident pricing at the pool and other recreational programs.

Resident ID Cards are free and available at the Palos Heights Recreation Center. To obtain a card, please bring:

Two forms of proof of residency, and

Proof of minor children (if applying for children’s cards), such as:

School paperwork

Birth certificates

Insurance documents

Please note: State IDs are not accepted at the pool as proof of residency, as some addresses fall in unincorporated areas.

We appreciate your understanding as we work to ensure fair and consistent access to resident benefits. Stop by the Recreation Center today to get your card and be ready for summer fun!

The lifeguards at Palos Pool are American Red Cross trained. Our lifeguards also complete six hours of additional training each month during the pool season. We pride ourselves on offering the safest environment possible to our patrons. We offer a variety of pool pass options along with daily drop in fees.
